It may be that your browser simply needs to be updated. It is important to keep your browser updated to ward off malicious software that could compromise your computer's security. We have provided a link below to a free tool called Qualys® that will check your browser for these important updates. While Equitable did not create this tool, we trust that it will guide you to the correct site to bring your browser up to date.

What if my browser cannot be updated to a new enough version?

It is possible your operating system needs to be updated before you can update your browser. In April of 2014 Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP, meaning they no longer write updates to keep it safe from malicious software. Consequently, as new versions of browsers were released, many of them no longer work with Windows XP.

If you need help updating your operating system, you may need to visit with your local computer retailer or servicer. They should be able to help you find the best solution for your situation.

When will the update happen?

The new site will go live on January 26, 2016. It will happen in the middle of the night to reduce disruption.
